Overview

The treatment, in plain English.

What it is

Massage at Rollo House ranges from focused deep tissue work on specific problem areas to full-body 60-minute treatments and Brazilian Lymphatic Sculpting, a technique that drains excess fluid, decongests tissue and visibly refines the face, legs and stomach.

Who it's for

For anyone carrying persistent tension in shoulders, neck or lower back. For anyone who feels puffy, swollen or heavy through the legs and stomach, especially in cycles, after long-haul travel, in perimenopause or after surgery cleared for lymphatic work. For anyone who simply needs an hour to switch off.

When to book it

Deep tissue when you feel it building rather than after weeks of pain. Lymphatic sculpting weekly or fortnightly for a defined block if you want visible results. Full-body 60-minute massage whenever your reserves are low.

Why go professional

Foam rollers and lie-down apps can't do what trained hands can. Fascia releases, trigger points and lymphatic pathways all respond to specific techniques delivered by someone who knows the anatomy, not a random press-and-hope.

Pricing

Transparent from the first call.

  • Deep Tissue Massage (30 mins)£40
  • Massage (60 mins)£75
  • Brazilian Lymphatic Sculpt, Full Body & Face£125
  • Lymphatic Face Sculpt£75
  • Lymphatic Leg Sculpt£60
  • Lymphatic Stomach & Waist Sculpt£50

Lymphatic sculpting works best as a defined block of sessions rather than one-offs.

What "just leaving it" really costs

Unresolved tension doesn't dissolve on its own, it becomes posture, headaches, sleep problems and short fuses.

If it's left alone

  • Chronic shoulder and neck tension escalating into tension headaches and jaw clenching.
  • Lower back tightness making everything from sitting to driving uncomfortable.
  • Poor lymphatic flow leaving legs, ankles and stomach permanently puffy.
  • Postural changes from months of hunched laptop work becoming genuine structural issues.
  • Sleep quality dropping because your body can't come down from fight-or-flight without help.

Common mistakes we fix

  • Waiting until pain is chronic before booking, when a 30-minute focused deep tissue session weeks earlier would have prevented it.
  • Booking 'relaxing' spa massage when you actually needed clinical deep tissue work.
  • Skipping water before and after massage and cramping up the next day.
  • Doing lymphatic sculpting once and expecting long-term change, it's a technique that stacks with regular sessions.
  • Powering through with painkillers instead of addressing the muscle knot causing them.

Why clients choose Rollo House

What you actually leave with.

Real tension release

Deep tissue work reaches muscles that self-massage and stretching can't touch.

Visible sculpting results

A course of Brazilian Lymphatic Sculpting produces measurable changes in face, waist and leg definition over 4–8 sessions.

Reduced puffiness

Legs, ankles and stomach feel lighter within 24 hours of a lymphatic session, especially if you're prone to fluid retention.

Better sleep

Nervous system regulation from proper touch dramatically improves sleep quality that night.

Post-training recovery

Deep tissue clears the accumulated tightness from consistent training or physical work.

A room where you can drop

Quiet, warm, private. No one will knock. You don't have to talk unless you want to.

The detail behind the treatment

Everything worth knowing before you book.

Massage and sculpting cover very different goals, knowing which to book is half the value. Here is what each treatment actually does.

Deep Tissue Massage (30 mins), £40

A focused 30-minute session on a specific area, upper back and shoulders, lower back and hips, glutes and legs, or a combination. Ideal when one part of your body is the loudest and you don't want a full-hour treatment.

Massage (60 mins), £75

A full 60-minute treatment tailored to your body that day, a blend of deep tissue and flow work covering back, shoulders, neck, arms and legs. The classic reset massage.

Brazilian Lymphatic Sculpt, Full Body & Face, £125

A comprehensive full-body treatment using specific Brazilian sculpting and lymphatic drainage techniques designed to decongest the tissue, reduce fluid retention and visibly refine the silhouette. Includes face for a lifted, sharper appearance. Ideal as a monthly reset or as part of a defined event-prep course.

Lymphatic Face Sculpt, £75

Focused Brazilian-style face sculpting that de-puffs, sharpens the jawline, brightens the eye area and delivers a visibly lifted finish. Excellent before events. Stacks beautifully with a course.

Lymphatic Leg Sculpt, £60

For anyone who lives with heavy, swollen or aching legs, long hours on your feet, long-haul travel, cyclical fluid retention or post-training soreness. Improves lightness and definition through the calves and thighs.

Lymphatic Stomach & Waist Sculpt, £50

Targeted decongestion across the abdomen and waist. Popular pre-event, during hormonal bloat and as part of a defined sculpting block. Not appropriate for early pregnancy or certain medical conditions, we'll screen at booking.

How to choose

Sore and tight → Deep Tissue (30 mins). Overwhelmed and depleted → 60-minute massage. Puffy and heavy → Lymphatic sculpt (face, leg, stomach or full body). Pre-event glow-up → Face + full body lymphatic sculpt as a stack.

Frequently asked

Straight answers, no fluff.

How much does massage cost?+

Deep Tissue Massage 30 minutes is £40. A 60-minute massage is £75. Lymphatic sculpting starts at £50 for stomach and waist and goes up to £125 for the full-body and face sculpt.

What is Brazilian Lymphatic Sculpting?+

A specific manual technique that drains excess lymphatic fluid, decongests tissue and visibly refines the silhouette. Popular for face lifting, leg heaviness and stomach bloating.

How often should I book lymphatic sculpting?+

Weekly or fortnightly across a defined block (4–8 sessions) gives the most visible results. Monthly maintenance is enough for many clients once initial results are in.

Is deep tissue massage painful?+

Deep tissue works at a pressure that feels intense on knots and adhesions but should not cross into pain. We check with you throughout.

Can I have massage while pregnant?+

Certain massages yes, from around 12 weeks in a low-risk pregnancy with appropriate positioning. Lymphatic stomach and full-body sculpting are not appropriate during pregnancy. Please tell us at booking.

How long should I book if I'm not sure?+

A 60-minute massage is the safest first choice, enough time to address multiple areas and settle into the treatment. Rebook shorter or longer once we've read your body.

Are there conditions where sculpting isn't appropriate?+

Yes, pregnancy, recent surgery, active infection, certain vascular conditions and some cancers. We screen at booking and will recommend alternatives if needed.

Will I feel sore after?+

After deep tissue, mild next-day soreness is normal. Lymphatic work usually leaves you feeling lighter, not sorer.

Do you serve East Lothian?+

Yes, clients travel from Haddington, North Berwick, Musselburgh, Tranent, Prestonpans, Dunbar, Gullane and Pencaitland.

Is Rollo House insured?+

Yes, fully insured through Insync.
